We are a fully equipped, digital recording studio. Everyday after school, students book time to use our professional audio equipment for free. Students can record original music, college audition material, voice-overs for class, and cover songs. All musical genres welcome!
Everyday during lunch blocks, students come together to jam on our wide variety of guitars and basses. These jam sessions are a lot of fun and we welcome all skill levels!
The Electronic Dance Music(EDM) scene is popular today. During lunch and free blocks, students have the opportunity to learn how to use professional DJ software. We have 13 iMacs with Logic Pro X, Abelton Live(with Push), and Reason. Training sessions are held everyday. If the door is open, feel free to come in and use the lab!

Deedy Chang is a junior at CCHS. She’s a music addict who loves all genres, and plays the piano and guitar. The summer of 2015, she embarked on a life-changing solo trip to Taiwan, the home country of her parents. This further inspired her dreams to travel to other places, like South America and Africa. Deedy loves to meet new faces, and is always willing to help out with any questions/concerns.
Lily Supovitz is a senior at CCHS. She has been singing since she came out of the womb and music is her main passion in life. She has performed as a singer-songwriter for the local community, for greater Boston at open mics and coffee houses, and as a foreigner in impoverished Ecuadorian pueblos high in the Andes Mountains. She is the founder and leader of the Naturals, the first co-ed a cappella group at CC. The alt indie group is currently recording an album. Most recently, Lily performed with Jack Johnson at a Youth Action Island Summit and took part in the Vocal Summit program at Berklee School of Music. She is currently heading up the new band Venus Fly Map that plays for small gigs. Her passion for music continues to grow as she embarks on this journey to innovate Colonial Sound and make the studio not just good, but great.
